HORSEMAN'S
HOLLOW
PHILIPSBURG MANOR, SLEEPY HOLLOW,
NY - 2010
The old Manor of
Philipsburg, in Sleepy Hollow, by daylight.
The autumn leaves
bring sight-seers to the cemetery and its ancient trees.
Among the headstones
are the names of Van Tassell, Martling...
And one stone
remains dedicated to "the body of a brave soldier of unknown name who died
in battle."
At dusk, the scarecrows
warn all to stay away from these lands.
Darkness falls and
strange lights flicker at the abandoned schoolhouse of Ichabod Crane.
A dreamlike - or
nightmarish? - presence arouses the undead, who may soon haunt the Hollow.
