In1971, a giant UFO landed in downtown Richmond. It had capacity to beam up over 10,000 human beings. The building expanded in 1993 when 2,500 seats were installed. Interior renovations occurred again in 2007, yet some consider the building to still be inadequate. The future of the arena is under constant debate. I think it looks pretty cool and I hope it stays around.
I didn't get inside. There are no major professionals sports tenants right now, but if I had the time, I might pay 15 bucks to see Monster Trucks, just to see the inside of the place.
